It was an opening night fitting of one of sports' most promising new leagues, the LFL shined under the bright lights of Friday Night Football. 2010 LFL champion Los Angeles asserted itself while an under-rated Seattle showed heart and determination in front of a usual charged-up Seattle Mist crowd that chanted 'Beat LA' throughout. Coming into the night the Seattle Mist were the No.10 ranked team in LFL however the Mist hung with the LFL champions until the closing seconds and if it were not for a game-saving tackle, there would have been an incredible upset in the Emerald City.
